We're rolling out full fibre in Wilmslow!

We're proud to be one of the UK’s fastest-growing full fibre broadband providers.
This week we're celebrating significant growth in the North West; our Greater Manchester full fibre network has expanded across counties into neighbouring Cheshire, launching in Wilmslow.

The project to bring better broadband to Greater Manchester began in early 2021 and has since seen over 150,000 homes across South Manchester able to benefit from our gigabit network, showing the pace and success of our operations machine. We're delighted to expand into Wilmslow, this marks a new era for high-speed internet connectivity in the town, providing residents and businesses with consistent and fast upload and download speeds and reliable broadband services, in addition to providing the area with a choice in suppliers.

From Hulme to Gatley, and Davyhulme to Gorton, the deployment of full fibre coverage across South Manchester has been so successful that we are now looking at surrounding underserved areas that will benefit from full fibre coverage, as part of our ongoing commitment to delivering lightning-fast, future-proof connectivity that will empower communities for decades to come.

The launch of full fibre in Wilmslow will enable us to connect more than 15,000 new homes to better broadband. This infrastructure will have a huge impact on the town, where full fibre access is lacking according to connectivity statistics from Think Broadband for Cheshire East.

Speaking of the rollout, brsk Regional Head for Manchester, Gareth Cornelius said, “With the success of our build across Greater Manchester over the last 18 months, we are excited to be expanding across the region and into Cheshire as we grow our footprint across the North West of England, bringing residents a much-needed upgrade to their connectivity.”

We're not just enabling the majority of Southern Greater Manchester - in addition to Wilmslow, Altrincham and Stockport - access to the best available broadband technology, we're thrilled to share further exciting plans regarding our deployment. We will shortly be expanding to serve even more residents across Greater Manchester, we plan to roll out gigabit connectivity in Ashton-Under-Lyne in East Manchester imminently!
